Thanksgiving Kid Craft

I wanted to do something craft Thanksgiving related with Micaiah. I realized he could care less if we do some kind of Mommy/Son craft together, but I love the hand-turkey art that sometimes kids do in school, so I set out to do a little Thanksgiving craft with him for fun. Here's how it turned out!

I'm pretty sure he thought I was nuts when I striped him down to just a diaper and brought out some paints.
I cut out some canvas squares left from a fabric remnant I had, taped down a trash bag, and got some paint and brushes.
I painted just the palm of his hand and had him put it on the canvas. We did 4 of them so that each set of grandparents could have a Thanksgiving present and then one for us to keep, too.
Then, I just washed his hand and painted his fingers yellow and a little blue, too. He was kind of over the paint by this point, so that was it. I then painted the rest of the turkey face at a later time after it dried and sewed a yellow ribbon to the top, so that it could hang on a door knob or wreath.
I just used a Brown Sharpie to write the verse and his name. You could hot glue the ribbon if you don't know how to sew, too.
