DIY Felt Board Copy cat!

You know when you see an awesome idea and you have to do it like yesterday? That was exactly how I felt earlier this month when I saw Carla at small + friendly's DIY travel size felt board. I had to make one THEN since we were leaving the next day for Daufuskie Island off the coast of Hilton Head Island.

They were so perfect for the car, I cannot even tell you! And they are so easy to make!
I just so happen, seriously, so odd and just right, to have these thin pieces of wood perfect for this. 2 x 2 birch. I did a quick sand. Sprayed them with adhesive and smoothed the felt down. Easy Peasy.
Then, went crazy cutting out shapes.
 We made trains...
Sand castles to get ready for the beach!
And of course, they brought me back to Sunday School days, so I love that we could talk about Jesus' love for him!
 Naomi loved hers as well!
I didn't have a large enough piece of felt, so I actually did her board with fleece. It worked great.

Thanks, Carla for the idea!!! It kept these toddlers happy! I highly recommend this idea for busy toddlers!
